This new feature not only changed the way we look at apps, but also offered a smarter way to manage storage. That said, not everyone is a fan of this feature. How to Disallow App Clips on iPhone
Apple has added a new hidden setting in Screen Time to allow users to allow/disallow App Clips in iOS 14. This means that whenever you want to disable or enable this feature, you will have to dive into the Content and Privacy Restrictions section located in Screen Time.
Although the process may seem like a tedious task, it provides the necessary control. So as long as you don’t mind taking a few extra steps, you’ll appreciate this virtual lock designed to block access to App Clips.
- Start the Settings app on your iPhone.
2. Now press screen time.
3. Then press Content and Privacy Restrictions.
4. Then press Content Restrictions.
5. Then press Application snippets.
6. Finally choose Not to allow then quit the Settings app.
It is more or less that ! In the future, no one will be able to use App Clips on your device. Of course, if you ever change your mind and want to allow it again, go back to the Content Restrictions section and choose the Allow option at the end.
