Installing apps and games allows you to get the most out of your Google TV streaming device. But, inevitably, you will end up with some that you no longer want. Here’s how to uninstall apps and games on Google TV.
Small streaming devices, like Chromecast with Google TV, usually don’t have a ton of storage space. And whatever you install uses part of it. This is why it is important to delete the apps and games that you no longer use.
Soon: How to set up your Chromecast with Google TV
To get started, select “Applications” at the top of the home screen.
Scroll down to the “Your apps” section and find the app you want to uninstall. If you’ve installed a lot of apps and games, you’ll need to select “View All” first to see the full list.
Select the app you want to remove, then click and hold the Select or Enter button on your remote.
From the pop-up menu that appears, select “Show details”.
This will take you to the list of that app or game in the Google Play Store, where you can select “Uninstall”.
Select “OK” from the confirmation pop-up to continue.
The app or game will be uninstalled and deleted from your Google TV!
